SUMMARY:
This technical note documents an issue that occurs in Strategy Narrowcast Server 10.6, where the Distribution Manager service cannot be started.
SYMPTOM:
The Distribution Manager service cannot be started from the Strategy 10.6 Narrowcast Server Administrator console as the following error appears:
An unexpected error was encountered while attempting to create the Distribution Manager
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Narrowcast Server 10.6. Executables required for the Distribution Manager are not correctly registered during installation.
ACTION:
Using Command Line, run the following commands to register Narrowcast Executables required for the the Distribution Manager to function correctly.

NOTE: The following fix allows for Narrowcast Server to operate correctly except for the Logging Services. Restoration of the Logging Services functionality is currently under investigation.
