SYMPTOM
When answering text prompts within Cloudera Hive, Impala or Google Big Query, the results do not match if the prompt answer contains quotes.
See SQL below and note the bold and underlined word:

with gopa1 as
(select a11.mrch_dba_id mrch_dba_id,
a12.eci_moto_grp_cd eci_moto_grp_cd,
sum(a11.CS_TRAN_CNT) WJXBFS1,
sum(a11.cs_us_tran_amt) WJXBFS2,
[..]
where (a11.CPD_MNTH_ID in (201506, 201505, 201504, 201503, 201502, 201501,
201412, 201411, 201410, 201409, 201408, 201407)
and a11.coll_ind in (' ')
and a11.issr_ctry_cd in (840)
and a11.mrch_ctry_cd not in (840)
and a14.mrch_dba_nm in ('GOOGLE', 'KINKO''S')
and (a11.ntwrk_id in (3)
or (a11.ntwrk_id in (1, 2)
and RTRIM(a13.PROD_BRND_CD) in ('VISA'))))
group by a11.mrch_dba_id,
a12.eci_moto_grp_cd)

CAUSE
The SQL being generated is incorrect. The word "KINKO's" contains an apostrophe and it requires an escape character such as a backslash (\) in order for the SQL to be valid.  See below:

[...]
and a14.mrch_dba_nm in ('GOOGLE', 'KINKO\'S')
[...]
