"Please do not resubmit the last request" error message occurs when attempting to run certain reports in MicroStrategy 9.x against Teradata 13

SYMPTOM:

The following error is obtained when attempting to run certain reports in Strategy 9.x against Teradata 13:
Sample Code/Error
Internal error: Please do not resubmit the last request.  SubCode, CrashCode:   0,  3701 State: S1000; Native: -3610; Origin:

CAUSE:

This is a known issue related to query execution against Teradata 13. This error is known to occur in Teradata 13 releases lower than Version 13.00.00.10.

ACTION:

Upgrade to Teradata 13 release Version 13.00.00.10 or higher to resolve the issue. If using a Teradata 13 release lower than Version 13.00.00.10, then contact Teradata Technical Support regarding Efix 30172 to obtain information about this issue.

WORKAROUND:

To workaround the issue in Teradata 13 releases lower than Version 13.00.00.10, add the following SQL statement to the 'Report Pre Statement 1' VLDB property:

Sql
Diagnostic nosldrvstats on for session

Pre/Post Statements Report Pre Statement 1 Diagnostic nosldrvstats on for session

Pre/Post Statements Report Pre Statement 1 Diagnostic nosldrvstats on for session

Pre/Post Statements Report Pre Statement 1 Diagnostic nosldrvstats on for session

Thereafter, disconnect and re-connect to the project source in Strategy Desktop (if using 2-tier mode) or restart Strategy Intelligence Server (if using 3-tier mode), for the setting change to take effect.

NOTE: This VLDB setting addition may be made either at the Database Instance level or the individual report level. Diagnostic commands are for troubleshooting purposes only and should not be used as a permanent viable workaround. Strategy strongly recommends contacting Teradata Technical Support with regards to the Efix.
