KB32265: Funnel graph can only display a maximum of 16 categories in MicroStrategy Developer

SYMPTOM:
When executing a report in Funnel graph view in Strategy Developer, it only displays a maximum of 16 categories.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue in the Strategy Tutorial project:

1. In Developer, create report with attribute Month in row and metric Cost in column and filter report with Month from Jan 2006 to Dec 2007.
   
2. Display report in grid view, it returns with 24 rows.
   
3. Display report in graph view with funnel graph, click the button "Set Series by Column" at the top right of the menu bar.
   
4. From the menu, select Graph > Preferences > Options > General > Scrolling and set the maximum number of categories to 30.
   
5. The graph report will only display a maximum of 16 categories as shown below:
   

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Developer.
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
WORKAROUND:
Change the graph series by clicking the button "Set Series by Row" at the top right of the menu bar.
