KB324395: Statement About Limited Support for MicroStrategy Mobile Secured With AirWatch 10.5 and Earlier on Apple iOS 10.3

Apple iOS 10.3 will impact mobile deployments that use the AirWatch integrated MicroStrategy Mobile build framework 10.5 or earlier.

The upcoming release of Apple iOS 10.3 will impact mobile deployments that use the AirWatch integrated Strategy Mobile build framework 10.5 or earlier.  One issue found is that the Strategy Mobile app 10.5 or earlier will not launch on iOS 10.3. The issue is related to any app integrated with AirWatch SDK prior to 5.9.3.3.  Additionally, due to the Compromised Protection feature of AirWatch, devices will run the risk of being flagged incorrectly as compromised and unintentionally wiped and unenrolled when they upgrade their device to iOS 10.3.
Strategy is currently undergoing the process of integrating and certifying AirWatch’s SDK Version 5.9.3.3, which addresses issues with iOS 10.3. This update of the AirWatch SDK will be part of Strategy Mobile for AirWatch version 10.7, which we expect to be release mid-March 2017.
In the meantime, we strongly advise delaying the upgrade of devices to iOS 10.3 to prevent all issues related to integrated Strategy Mobile apps with AirWatch 10.5 and earlier.  To prevent device wipe and unenrollment, be sure to disable Compromised Protection and any related compliance policies on devices running on iOS 10.3.
