KB32513: When creating a new metadata shell through MicroStrategy Configuration Wizard 9.4.1 - 10.x, does it require to use CREATE PARTITION syntax?

Community Admin

When users create a new metadata shell through Strategy Configuration Wizard 9.4.1 - 10.x, a warning message suggests the database account needs to have create partition functions privileges. See the screen shot below:

It is not a required privilege for a database account to have CREATE PARTITION to generate a new metadata shell in Strategy 9.4.1 - 10.x. This privilege is only necessary when creating new statistics tables for Strategy Enterprise Manager.
