KB325664: {&WEBSERVER} macro is translated to an incorrect Web Server URL in MicroStrategy Web 10.4

SYMPTOM:
{&WEBSERVER} macro used to display the Web server URL is translated to http://<server name>/MicroStrategy/asp/TaskProc.aspx incorrectly in Strategy Web 10.4.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Use {&WEBSERVER} macro in the URL API and add it to a text link. For example:
   {&WEBSERVER}?evt=2048001&src=mstrWeb.2048001&visMode=0¤tViewMedia=1&documentID=6B3F9BE3409B3E41913A5DB1AAF48894&server={&SERVERNAME}&Project={&PROJECT}&port=0&share=1

1. Run the report services document in Presentation mode and click on the text link.

1. {&WEBSERVER} is translated to http://<server name>/MicroStrategy/asp/TaskProc.aspx incorrectly and thus the target report services document cannot be opened.
   http://10.27.72.88/MicroStrategy/asp/TaskProc.aspx?evt=2048001&src=mstrWeb.2048001&visMode=0¤tViewMedia=1&documentID=6B3F9BE3409B3E41913A5DB1AAF48894&server=YALIUMSTR104&Project=Strategy%20Tutorial&port=0&share=1

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue of Strategy Web 10.4.
 
WORKAROUND:
Users can replace {&webserver} macro with the use of relative path. Sample:
./Main.aspx?evt=2048001&src=mstrWeb.2048001&visMode=0¤tViewMedia=1&documentID=6B3F9BE3409B3E41913A5DB1AAF48894&server={&SERVERNAME}&Project={&PROJECT}&port=0&share=1
 
ACTION:
Currently this issue is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and it is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release.
