SYMPTOM:
While trying to run a report that uses data from more than one data source in Strategy, the users may receive the following error message:
Error in job details
Your request could not be processed due to a server error. Please try again.
If the problem persists, contact the server Administrator, <ER/>(SQLEngine
got an exception from DFC: Engine Logic: Insufficient privileges: can not
execute a report that uses multiple data sources Error in Process of
Component: SQLEngineServer, Project eQIP Reporting, Job 1638, Error
Code = -2147212800.)
The Administrator user may be observed to be able to run the same report successfully.
CAUSE:This error message indicates that the user running the report does not have the privileges to run a multi-source report. Potentially, the Intelligence Server license may have included only one named user with the required privileges and assigned those to the administrator user . The non Administrator user needs this privilege assigned to be able to run the multi-source reports.
ACTION:Users should be give the privilege to use multisourcing. If that is not available then obtain a license key for the additional named users with the included multi-source privileges.
