KB327886:The Visualization filter with ESRI map widget is not working properly in Visual Insight Dashboard in MicroStrategy Web 10.4

SYMPTOM:
Visualizations can be filtered by other visualization in Visual Insight Dashboards. It can be done by setting the source visualization as “Use as Filter”. However the filtering with ESRI map widget is not working properly in Visual Insight Dashboard in Strategy Web 10.4.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create a VI dashboard with 3 visualizations: V1, V2 and V3 configured as:
   V1 filters V2 and V2 filters V3.
2. Set V2 as ESRI map.
3. Click on V1 to filter V2 and then click on V2 to filter V3. It works as expected.
4. Repeat step 3 by clicking other elements.Note that the elements are not filtered properly.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 10.4.
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed in 10.6. Upgrade to take the advantage of this fix.
