KB32841: When running a report that has a metric with a prompt answer as its definition, a schema loading error is returned.

SYMPTOM:
When running a report that has a metric with a prompt answer as its definition, an error is returned. The error thrown is: 
Error(s) occurred while loading report: DSSSQLEngine: Schema loading error: Template (Local Template). -Template Unit Metrics-Template Metrics-Dimensional Metric (Test_1). -Dimensional Metric-Schema/Report Loading is interrupted by invalid data
 
The error states that the metric is defined improperly even though the metric definition was validated, however this is not enough for the metric to function properly. An example where a fixed value entered in prompt may be used is where a metric that needs a fixed value that will be compared to another metric on a report.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE 

• Create a value prompt and save it.
   
  
• Create a metric and insert the prompt into the metric expression window, then save.

• Create a report with any attribute, and insert the new metric onto it.

• Run the report and answer the prompt. Upon clicking finished, the error will be shown.

ACTION:
To get the report to run, the metric will have to be modified to contain a function.

• Add the Max() to the existing metric expression and save.

• Run the report and answer the prompts. The prompt answer will be displayed (if it is a date, it will need to be formatted).
