KB32968: An error "ISAPI Filter c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_filter.dll could not be loaded due to a configuration problem" is found in the Event Viewer logs when trying to access MicroStrategy Web

This article describes a possible cause for "Service Unavailable" error being displayed in the browser when trying to access MicroStrategy Web.

SYMPTOM:
A "Service Unavailable" error is displayed in the browser when trying to access Strategy Web. In addition, the following error message is found in the Event Viewer Application log:


ISAPI Filter 'c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_filter.dll' could not be loaded due to a configuration problem. The current configuration only support loading images built for a AMD64 processor architecture.

CAUSE:
Strategy Web was installed on a 64bit Windows OS when IIS is running in 32bit mode.
ACTION:
Switch the IIS mode to be compatible with the 64bit version of Strategy Web. For more information, refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
