PostgreSQL ODBC Linux Driver 7.01.03 is supported as an ODBC driver for use against PostgreSQL 8.3 in Strategy 9.x. This support status applies to Strategy Intelligence Server 9.x running on the Linux operating system. This is a post-support status since the testing was performed after the release of Strategy 9.x. Therefore, this support information (tabulated below) is not present in the General Information Readme file.

The certified driver against PostgreSQL 8.3 for Strategy 9.x as listed in General Information Readme file is the 32-Bit Strategy ODBC Driver for PostgreSQL Wire Protocol driver. That certification information is still valid. The support of the native PostgreSQL ODBC Windows Driver (as listed above) is intended to augment that certification.
There are some known issues with metric sorting, subtotals and formatting while using the certified PostgreSQL Wire Protocol driver. Therefore, the native PostgreSQL ODBC Windows Driver (as listed above) is supported as an alternate driver, should such issues be encountered.
