KB33299: Command Manager returns an "Object with ID 'XXX' and type 34 (User) is not found in metadata." after running the Create User script with multiple qualifications in MicroStrategy Command Manager

Command Manager returns an "Object with ID 'XXX' and type 34 (User) is not found in metadata." after running the Create User script with multiple qualifications in MicroStrategy Command Manager.

SYMPTOM:
The following error message is returned when running a Create User script in Command Manager 9.0.1 when the script contains multiple qualifications:

Sample Code/Error
(Object with ID 'XXXXXXXXXXXX' and type 34 (User) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.)

The script was similar to the following:

Sql
CREATE USER `test` DISABLED ALLOWCHANGEPWD FALSE;

Running the script without the disable or the allowchangepwd qualification creates the user successfully.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue where multiple qualifications on the create user script cause the script to fail to run.

ACTION:
Please contact Strategy Technical Support for more information on this issue.

WORKAROUND:
Create the user using two Command Manager scripts instead of one. First script creates the basic  user. The second script, using the Alter User script, is used to configure the user.

For example, run the following script to create the user:

Sql
CREATE USER `test`;

Once the user is created, run the following script to configure the user.
Sql

ALTER USER "test" DISABLED ALLOWCHANGEPWD FALSE;
