KB33455: How to create a customizable cover page for a document in MicroStrategy 9.x

This tech note provides instruction on how to create a customizable cover page that will be displayed as the first page of a document.  The cover page will not display a page number or any other repeating information that appears on the following pages.

• Create a new document.
   
  

• From the Insert Menu, Select Layout.
   
  

• Add the desired images and text to the Detail Header in Layout 1.
• Add repeating information to the Layout Footer section of Layout 2.
   
  

• Export the document, and notice that the page number is repeated on every page but the cover page (Layout 1).
