This article describes a behavior where "Object with ID '[object GUID]' and type 1 (Filter) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted." error message appears when executing a report in MicroStrategy Developer.

SYMPTOM:
When the user executes a report in Strategy Desktop 9.0.0, the following error occurs:

ka02R000000kcHjQAI_0EM440000002E2W.gif

Sample Code/Error
Object with ID '' and type 1 (Filter) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.

The user cannot copy or make changes to this report. The same error above shows.

CAUSE:
One possible cause of this issue is due to an object prompt containing an invalid reference to a filter that does not exist in the project.

WORKAROUND:
This issue can be resolved by removing the object prompt and re-adding it back to the report. If there is more than one object prompt in the report, the user should try removing object prompts one by one.

If this does not resolve the problem, please contact Strategy Technical Support for further assistance.
