This technical note describes an error "Run-time error '0'" displayed when opening Object Manager in MicroStrategy 9.x and higher

SYMPTOM:
Opening Object Manager 9.x and higher returns the following error message:


Run-time error '0'

 
CAUSE:
The file named MSVBVM60.DLL may be a corrupt file or have an incorrect file version. 
 
ACTION:
Replacing the .DLL file should allow Object Manager to function correctly. 

  1. Locate the MSVBVM60.DLL  file on a working machine.
  2. Copy the .DLL from the working machine and replace the non-working file.
