KB34099: Total for Stacked Bar graph are missing in flash mode of a Report Service document in MicroStrategy Web 9.x.

SYMPTOM:
 
Total for Stacked Bar graph is missing in flash mode of a Report Services document in Strategy Web 9.x.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
 
Follow steps below to reproduce the issue in Strategy Tutorial project:
 

• Create a report with attribute one attribute in the rows and one attribute and metric  in the columns.
• Execute the report as a graph 'Vertical Bar: Stacked' .
• Navigate to  Graph Options > Series > Labels and Values > Data Values, and select Absolute Values and check the option for Show Total.
• Create a Report Services document with the above report as a dataset
• Run the Report Services document created at step 4 in Web, note that the total is displayed in View mode, Interactive mode and Editable mode, as shown below:
   
  

• However, the total is not displayed in Flash mode as ilustrated below
   
  

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 9.x.
 
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on the status of this issue.
 
WORKAROUND:
Run the Report Service document in View mode, Interactive mode or Editable mode to display the total for stacked bar chart.
