This article describes how to resolve an issue where running an alter user description script in MicroStrategy Command Manager updates only the English description in object translation, when using a non-English interface, in a MicroStrategy environment.

Description

In a non-English operating system environment, running the alter user description script in Strategy Command Manager updates only the English field in the object translation.

Steps to reproduce

Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue in the Strategy Tutorial project.

  • In Developer, with the interface language in Korean, change the administrator description value to ‘디스크립션’ in the User Editor.
