KB34716: How to perform a silent installation of Hotfixes for MicroStrategy 10.x in a Windows Operation System

Strategy 10.x Hotfixes can be installed in a complete silent mode with command line.
Follow below steps to perform a silent installation for Hotfixes:

setup.exe L0009 --ResponseFile="C:HFResponse.ini" -s f1C:HFsetup.iss
 

1. Move the Hotfix installation files for Strategy 10.x to the machine where the installation will take place. Note that the HFResponse.ini file and HFsetup.iss file are included in the installation file, as shown in the image below:
2. Copy the HFResponse.ini and HFsetup.iss to the root path of drive C:\
3. Open Windows command prompt, change path to the hotfix installation folder and run the following command:
4. Check the "setup.exe" process in Task Manager to verify the installation process, as shown in the image below:
5. Check the "ResultCode" in setup.log in C:\ to verify if the installation is successfully or not.
