Vertical line separators are not displayed in HTML file subscriptions for documents or dashboards in MicroStrategy Distribution Services

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy 9.x it is possible to add vertical line separators to documents and dashboards. When viewed from Strategy Web 9.x they look like the following:

After sending the document or dashboard to an HTML file using Strategy Distribution Services 9.x the vertical line separators do not display:

This problem does not occur for horizontal lines. For similar issues with lines and rectangles in email subscriptions, refer to the following Strategy Knowledge Base technical note:
KB33464: Lines and rectangles cannot be displayed in Microsoft Outlook 2007 email body after a Report Services Document is delivered in HTML and Excel format in MicroStrategy Distribution Services 9.0.1

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with file subscriptions to HTML in Strategy Distribution Services 9.x.

ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.

WORKAROUND:
In place of a vertical line a narrow rectangle can be used.

The following shows what a rectangle with a width of 0.02 inches will look like when sent through Strategy Distribution Services 9.x:
