Ensure the user(s)/group has the 'Create and edit transmitters and devices' privilege as indicated below:
Go to Administration -> User Manager -> select the desired user or group. Right-click on it to select 'Grant access to projects':
Under the Project Access section, make sure the "Create and edit transmitters and devices" privilege checkbox under the Deliveries section is checked:
Edit the properties for the Transmitters and Devices managers using the following steps:
Go to Administration -> Delivery Managers and right-click on Transmitters to select Properties:
Under the Security section, click on Add. When the 'Select Users and Groups' dialog comes up, select the user(s)/group that needs to have read-only access. If selecting a group, make sure to select it and choose OK instead of double-clicking; double-clicking will cause the dialog to show the group contents:
The user(s)/group added will now be available under Permissions in the Security section:
Change both the Object and Children columns, of the desired user(s)/group(s), from View to Custom. When the 'Access Control Entry for' dialog comes up to allow the custom changes, set the privileges set as follows:
To apply the changes to all of the existing Transmitters and Devices make sure the following options are checked: 'Apply changes in permissions to all children objects' , 'Overwrite children's access control lists' and 'Recursively'.
Click OK to save changes
Repeat the steps selecting Devices instead of Transmitters.
