Even though there are multiple MicroStrategy Intelligence Servers 9.4.x-10.x available within the same network and the service is up and running, not all of the Server names appear in the drop down list of Integrity Manager 9.4.x-10.x.

SYMPTOM:

CAUSE:
One of the typical reasons is that the Strategy Listener is not running on the machine where the Intelligence Server to be connected is running.

ACTION:
Start Strategy Listener or try connecting the Intelligence Server by directly typing its name or IP address.

On related symptom, also refer to:

  • KB17451: 'No projects were returned by this server' error message appears when attempting to load projects from another Strategy Intelligence Server in Strategy Integrity Manager 8.1.1
  • KB20083: Server Name list is empty when creating an integrity test in Strategy Integrity Manager 8.1.2
