SYMPTOM:
When user executes the sample procedure: "EXECUTE PROCEDURE List_ldap_user_or_group (FALSE);" nothing gets written in the results section in Command Manager 9.x and later, it only gets written in the Messages section. Therefore user could not export the results as shown below:.
"EXECUTE PROCEDURE List_ldap_user_or_group (FALSE);"

Nothing gets written in the results section. However, when users execute any other "list" procedure for example: "EXECUTE PROCEDURE List_Security_Roles_Users_Projects_Associations;" the results get written to the results section and Command Manager prompts users to export the results as shown in the screenshots below:
"EXECUTE PROCEDURE List_Security_Roles_Users_Projects_Associations;"

Output gets written to the results section and Command Manager prompts the user to export the results.
CAUSE:
This behavior is occurring by design. The printOut() java calls which are used in the "List_ldap_user_or_group" sample procedure output to standard output i.e. the messages window in Command Manager . Some of the other sample procedures (such as "List_Security_Roles_Users_Projects_Associations") use Command Manager outlines themselves to output results, which is why their results are treated like normal CM outline results and can thereby be exported.
WORKAROUND:
In order to write the results of procedures to log files, users will need to modify their procedure code to include Java file operations.
