SYMPTOM:
When a user imports a package through Strategy Object Manager 9.x, it gets imported without any errors. But when the same package is imported through command line using MAImportPackage.exe, the following error message is logged in the log file.
Sample Code/Error
There was an error while launching the 'Strategy Import Package' tool.
A problem occurred while importing the package. Make sure you specify
the project if this is a project package and the package file is
accessible for the Intelligence Server.
(Unable to open file
<<PackageName>>. System error code: MFileSystem::ReadableFileImpl::ReadableFileImpl: ::open failed for <<PackageName>>.
System Error (ENOENT): --- No such file or directory.)
EXIT: 1 Failure!
CAUSE:
The error is logged because the location of the package is local to the client machine on which command line executable MAImportPackage.exe is running. This should not be the case. The path of the package should always be relative to the Intelligence Server and not the local client machine. This is also specified in the "System Administration Guide Volume1" > pg. 333 as shown below.

The command line help for MAImportPackage.exe offers the same guideline as shown below.

ACTION:
Specify the package location relative to the Intelligence Server machine.
