This Knowledge Base article describes an issue that occurs when using the MJHLMGTR utility to migrate file based history lists into a database

SYMPTOM:
When using the MJHLMGTR utility to migrate file based history lists into a database, the following error will be returned:


Failed to initialize HLMigrator with error: <0x80041404>: Database error <%1>: %2

CAUSE:
The error is returned when the tables required for the database based history list are corrupted or missing.
ACTION:
Make sure that all of the database based history list tables are present:

DSSCSSYSPROP
DSSCSMSGINFO
DSSCSCONTENT
DSSCSRPTCACH

If there are any missing or corrupted tables, use the Strategy Configuration Wizard to create new tables.
