KB35842: How to manually specify interval values for Y-axis graph labels for a graph report in MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.1

A user would like to know if there is a way to specify a manual interval value if the default interval did not meet the user's requirements.  For example, the following graph report defined in Strategy Tutorial project has 200000 as the default value.

Execute the following steps in Strategy Tutorial to do this:

  • Highlight the Y-axis label and right click to display the context menu to select "Grid and Scales..."

  • After the Graph Preferences window opens, go to Axes -> Y -> Grids and Scales, check "Use Manual Grid" and set the "Interval Value:" to 5000000.
