KB35930: Environment variable $MSTR_REGISTRY_FILE points to a non-writable file: MSIReg.reg" error appears when launching any tool in Graphic mode with MicroStrategy Server Universal 9.x and 10.x

SYMPTOM:
When attempting to launch any tool in Graphic mode with Strategy Server Universal 9.x and 10.x, the following message is received:

WARNING: environment variable $MSTR_REGISTRY_FILE points to a non-writeable file `/var/opt/MicroStrategy/MSIReg.reg

 
CAUSE:
This message is received because the MSIReg.reg file has only been given read access.
 
ACTION:
To resolve this issue provide Write permissions for the MSIReg.reg file to the Intelligence Server user.
