"ORA-01747: invalid user.table.column, table.column, or column specification." error occurs when the Oracle database key word is specified as column names in MicroStrategy Desktop 9.0.2

SYMPTOM:
 
In Strategy Desktop 9.0.2, when running a report with the attributes, and in the associated tables, Oracle database key words are specified as column names, the following error message occurs:


Execute Query failed. Error type: Odbc error. Odbc operation attempted: SQLExecDirect. ORA-01747: invalid user.table.column, table.column, or column specification.

 
CAUSE:
 
Strategy product doesn't support Oracle database key word specified as column names by default.
 
ACTION:
 
Follow the steps in the technical note below to enable quotes for the column names (Refer to the example 2 for more information.):
