SYMPTOM:
When accessing the task admin page in a Strategy Web Universal, users get prompted for credentials. Entering the web server admin user credentials returns the following error message:
"HTTP Status 403 - Access to the requested resource has been denied when trying to access"
CAUSE:
The credentials provided do not contain the correct role as set by the security constrains
ACTION:
Strategy Web adds a security constrain in the web.xml for the web resource TaskDeveloper which is mapped to the URL /servlet/taskViewer/*. In order to have access to the resource the user making the request requires the taskDeveloper role name.If using Tomcat edit the tomcat-users.xml file under \conf to either create a new user with the role name or edit an existing user and add the role name to it.
