Obtaining the session state might be useful if the developers is planing to render a link on screen that will use a task call. For most tasks to run the session state has to be provided.
The following code snippet shows how to obtain the session state from a bean in a transform
package com.Strategy.transform;
import com.Strategy.web.app.transforms.ReportGridTransformImpl;
import com.Strategy.web.beans.MarkupOutput;
import com.Strategy.web.beans.ReportBean;
public class ReportGridTransformExtension extends ReportGridTransformImpl {
@Override
public void renderGrid(MarkupOutput markupoutput) {
System.out.println("Here");
ReportBean rb = super.getReportBean();
String state = rb.getSessionInfo().saveState();
System.out.println("State: " + state);
super.renderGrid(markupoutput);
}
public String getDescription() {
return "";
}
}
