KB36456: When export a group-by document with "Expand group-by" option checked to PDF from MicroStrategy Developer 9.x and 10.x, the grid shrinks to a tiny size.

SYMPTOM:
 
When the user exports a group-by document in Strategy Developer 9.x and 10.x, with the option "Expand group-by" checked, grid reports in the output PDF shrink to a tiny size:
 

CAUSE:
 
This issue is due to the Scaling is not set properly under the Page Setup for the document. The Scaling may be set to use "Fit to" instead of "Adjust to" (default):
 

 
ACTION:
 
Please change the Scaling to use "Adjust to" and use "100%" for the value. Follow steps below:

• Open the document in design mode.
• Go to menu > File > Page Setup
• Under Page, change the Scaling to "Adjust to" and use 100%:
   
  

• Save and close the Page Setup window.
