SYMPTOM:
Cache files for dataset reports used with Report Services Documents are not being created when users execute or send a report to History List from Strategy Web 9.0.x. If the same document is executed via Strategy Desktop 9.0.x and 9.2.x by the same user, cache files for dataset reports are being generated properly.
CAUSE:
The option to create or update dataset caches for Report Services Document execution from Web was not enabled.
ACTION:
Enable the Document Cache option "Create or Update Dataset caches for Document Executions from Strategy Web" in Web preferences > Project defaults > General as shown below:
