KB36684: How to enable GIS Network Visualization on MicroStrategy Mobile 9.x dashboards

GIS Network Visualization is a new feature introduced in Strategy Mobile 9.0.2 Patch 8, on top of the existing Mobile Map Widget (iPhone & iPad). The function of this visualization is to connect GEO locations using line or arc. The color and thickness of the line represents metric value. The following is a sample of affinity line on Google Map widget:

 
The GIS Visualization Document requires two datasets:

1. The first dataset is to display markers on the map
2. The second dataset is to draw affinity lines between markers

The second dataset requires two metrics:

1. The first metric value represents the thickness of the affinity line
2. The second metric threshold displays the color of the line
