Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM:
When users log into Strategy Web 10.x and My Page is set as Start Page, a preview image is not always available for the reports, documents and Dossiers (or dashboards) shown in the Recents widget, even if "Show Preview" is enabled in the Web Preferences - Project Default.
CAUSE:
After running a document, a screenshot is taken using javascript and the image is stored in the browser cache.
If caches are cleared on exit, therefore, there will be no image displayed in the Recents until the reports or documents are executed again.
ACTION:
Re-execute those reports or documents for the image to be back
