KB370008: "+" button in My Page requires Web Create Dashboard / Web Create Dossier Privilege

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM: 
Users are unable to create new reports and documents from My Page as the "+" button is missing, despite having the correct privileges to do so.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

• set MY Page as default Start Page in Strategy Web
• log into Strategy Tutorial project as user "prose", notice the "+" button: 

• remove the Web Create Dossier privilege (among the Web Analyst privileges)
• connect to Strategy Web again and notice the "+" has disappeared 

CAUSE: 
This is a a regression issue from Strategy 10.3 that affects Strategy 10.4.x and 10.9. .
ACTION:
Currently this issue is being reviewed by Strategy for a potential code fix on an upcoming Strategy release. Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
WORKAROUND:  
Two workarounds are currently available:
•users can navigate to the Shared Reports and leverage the Create button available on the page; ​

 •users can be granted the Web Create Dashboard (in Strategy 10.4.x) or Web Create Dossier (in Strategy 10.9) privilege, but this will enable them to also create such objects.​
