This KB discusses what privileges are required for a user to hit Intelligent Cube when executing a report or document.

QUESTION:
What are the required privileges for a user to hit Intelligent Cube when executing report and document in Strategy Web?
ANSWER:
Reports/Documents created from Intelligent Cube:

  • "Web Reporter" is required to run Intelligent Cube report.
  • "Web Reporter" and "Report Services document" are required to run Intelligent Cube document.


 
Reports/Documents not created from Intelligent Cube but meet dynamic sourcing requirements:

  • Additional "Use OLAP services" and "Use Dynamic Sourcing" are required for a user to hit an Intelligent Cube, besides the privileges mentioned above.
