KB37433: A successfully file delivery notification is received in spite of a failed file subscription in MicroStrategy Distribution Services 9.x

SYMPTOM:
 
A subscription to deliver report to Excel format to a file location fails with below error in DSSErrors.log as below:
 
Sample Code/Error

2011-08-02 04:17:20.011 Distribution Service: MSIDeliveryEngine::Delivery: The report RGSDFO002 content generation return partial data. Skip delivery according to project level setting.

 
However, a successfully file delivery notification is received, as shown below:

This is a known issue in Strategy Distribution Services 9.x
