KB37510: The metric format doesn't apply to subtotal row in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1 and above.

SYMPTOM:
The metric format doesn't apply to subtotal row in a grid, as shown below:
 

 
CAUSE:
This behavior is by design, a separate formatting setting is exposed for subtotals in Strategy Web..
 
ACTION:

• Go to Format menu in Web and then "Advanced Formatting"
• Select "Row Axis" and "Subtotal values" as shown below:
   
  

• Apply the format according to the requirement.
