Smart metrics do not aggregate correctly when using the Interactive feature for the Heat Map widget in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1.

SYMPTOM
The grid below shows Category and SubCategory attributes with Average Revenue and Sell-through Percentage metrics.

Sell-through percentage metric is a smart metric as shown below.

When the Subcategory attribute is removed from the grid (not the report), the Sell-through Percentage smart metric aggregates as expected, as shown below.

Similarly, in the Metric Filters section of the interactive menu of the Heat Map widget, the smart metric aggregates correctly when all attributes are included in the 'Grouping' section. See screen shot below.

However, on removing a Grouping attribute, users expect the smart metric to aggregate in a similar fashion as in the grid above, but instead may observe that the metric aggregates incorrectly, as shown below.

CAUSE
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 9.4.1 and below.
 
ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 9.5.1 and above. Please upgrade to a more recent version of Strategy to take advantage of this fix.
