Steps to gather MicroStrategy Mobile Device logs from iPad when using MicroStrategy Mobile.

This technical note illustrates how to gather Strategy Mobile Device log from iPad when using Strategy Mobile.
 

  • Turn on Strategy Mobile App and go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Logging, as shown below:

  • Under Logging, click the menu item to View Log, and delete all the logs by pressing Clear All, as shown below.

  • Return to the previous menu, and set the Level to "All", and change the Maximum log size to "500", as shown below:

  • Reproduce the issue.
  • After the issue is reproduced, go to Settings > Advanced Settings.
  • Under Logging, click View Log. The iPad log will display the device logs as follows:

  • To email this log, click on the pencil icon at the bottom right corner, the email screen will be displayed:

  • Send the logs to Strategy Technical Support with the appropriate case number in the subject.
