KB38115: In the Visual Insight Editor, a graph matrix filters by a different attribute than what is selected in the page-by in MicroStrategy Web 9.2.1

SYMPTOM:
When selecting Keep Only on a bar in a graph matrix visualization in Visual Insight, the graph filters by a different attribute than the selected page-by option in Strategy Web 9.2.1
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Create a report with Category, Subcategory, and Profit.
2. Save the report, then create an analysis object.
4. Change the visualization to a graph matrix.
5.  Add Category to the page-by, Subcategory to the x-axis, and Profit to the y-axis.
6. In the properties drop-zone, set the shape to Bar.
7. Select Electronics in the page-by.
8. Select a bar on the graph and select "keep only" in the drop down.
 
 

 
9. Notice how it does not filter by Electronics which was selected in the page-by, and instead filters by Books.
 

 
 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 9.2.1.
 
ACTION:
This issue has been fixed in Strategy Web 9.3.0 Upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix.
