When using Veritas to cluster Solaris machines running MicroStrategy 9.x that have been clustered together, reports/documents are unable to hit caches and history list message created by other nodes even with the shared location and both physical machines able to access shared location.

SYMPTOM:
When using Veritas to cluster Solaris machines running Strategy 9.x that have been clustered together, reports/documents are unable to hit caches and history list message created by other nodes even with the shared location and both physical machines able to access shared location.

CAUSE:
A possible cause of this issue, assuming that everything is setup correctly according to tech note TN14607 is that the incorrect file path is put in for history list inbox as well as cache location.

ACTION:
Make sure to put the full path of the file location rather than a shortcut for history list as well as for caching.
