KB38406: The 3 color arrow signs in the "Quick Thresholds" do not display properly in MicroStrategy Desktop (Developer)

Description:

When using the "Quick Thresholds" function in a report in Strategy Desktop (Developer) 9.0.x, 9.2.0 and 9.2.1, the "3 color arrows" option does not display correctly.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a report with "Country", "Call Center" and "Revenue".
  2. Run the report
  3. Click on the "Quick Thresholds" and choose "3 color arrows"

The report will look like this:

Why is this happening?

It is a known issue in Strategy Desktop (Developer) 9.x. It is already fixed in versions 10.x.

Solution:

For MSTR version 9.x you can use a workaround. In newer versions the issue does not appear.
