INTRODUCTION:
Using database based history list option, while a history list job is executing, the Status of "Waiting" and Message Text of "User request is waiting in queue for a PU" in History List Monitor.
SYMPTOM:
After sending a report to history list, the job can be seen as executing in the Job Monitor, as below:
While the report is executing, in History List Monitor, Status of "Waiting" and Message Text of "User request is waiting in queue for a PU," as below:
This Status and Message Text does not update until the job is complete.
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior. An Enhancement Request has been logged for the message to more accurately reflect the status.
