KB38893: How to send a report to History List automatically when executing the report using URL API when using MicroStrategy Web 9.0.2-9.2.1

Customers may want to run a report and automatically send it to History List with just one URL. This is feasible by concatenating events in the same URL.
 
In this scenario the 2 events that could be used are:

1. 4001 is the event to execute report
2. 4030 is the event to send report to history list.

 
 
 
The URL will then contain both events as follows:
 
 

http://WebServerName/MicroStrategy/asp/Main.aspx?evt=4001&src=Main.aspx.4001&reportID=89F03630406418E5A6165DBF533A39A3&evt=4030&src=Main.aspx.report.frame.rb.vb.4030&evtorder=4001%2c4030&4001=1&4030=1
