KB39244: Transformations are ignored for metrics which have prompted facts in MicroStrategy 9.X if the report contains a filter on a related attribute to a child of the transformed attribute.

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy 9.X, transformations are not always applied to metrics that use object prompts to choose the fact that will be used in the metric definition. This is limited to when the report filter contains an attribute qualification on an attribute that is related to a child of the transformed attribute. It should be noted that this included direct and indirect relationships but is very dependent on the data model on whether the issue will present.
 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy 9.X
