KB39265: Report cache expiration options are not preserved after migrating reports using MicroStrategy Object Manager 9.x and 10.x.

Report cache expiration options are not preserved after migrating reports using MicroStrategy Object Manager 9.x and 10.x.
SYMPTOM:

Consider that a report has been setup to invalidate cache based on a schedule as shown:

When such a report is migrated into a different MicroStrategy metadata (either creating a new report object or overwriting the existing report) the cache expiration options are no longer set to invalidate based on the schedule:

CAUSE:

This is a known issue with MicroStrategy Object Manager 9.x and 10.x.

ACTION:

MicroStrategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.

WORKAROUND:

After the migration has been completed, set the cache expiration options in the target report as per the source report using MicroStrategy Developer.
