SYMPTOM:
Users experience an issue where Intelligence Servers are getting frequently disconnected from the Strategy Web 2021 Administration page although the Intelligence Servers are set to automatically connect.
CAUSE:
One possible cause is that the user does not have permission to modify the sys_defaults_<IServer_name>.properties file located at \WEB-INF\xml\
ACTION:
Users should verify that they have the proper permissions to the properties file. Once the proper permissions are set, check the file after setting the Intelligence Server to 'Automatically connect', the line connectmode=auto is recorded.
