KB39613: Options Export to Excel, HTML, Flash or PDF are available in Report Services Document even though the corresponding privileges are not granted to the user in MicroStrategy Developer 9.x and 10.x

SYMPTOM:
 
Options, Export to Excel, HTML, Flash or PDF are available in Report Services Document even though the corresponding privileges are not granted to the user in Strategy Developer 9.x and 10.x
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue in Strategy Developer 9.x and 10.x:
 

1. Login to Desktop as user administrator. Create a user called User1 under Everyone group. Grant User1 all privileges under Desktop Analyst and Desktop Designer but do not grant User1 any privileges related to export under Common Privileges, as shown below:

• Login to Desktop as User1 and execute any Report Services Document. Note that the options Export to Excel, HTML, Flash or PDF are available under menu "File", as shown below:

CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue in Strategy Developer 9.x and 10.x
