"Object with id 'xxx' and type 53 (DB Table) is not found in metadata" error message appears when creating or editing an attribute in MicroStrategy Developer 9.x

SYMPTOM:
When creating or editing an attribute in Strategy Desktop 9.x, following error message appears:

ka044000000kHjOAAU_0EM440000002DEo.png

Sample Code/Error
Object with id 'xxx' and type 53 (DB Table) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted.

Running ScanMD cannot fix the issue.

CAUSE:
This happens because some logical tables are inconsistent (missing corresponding internal DB Tables). Please contact Strategy Technical Support for further assistance. In order to track down the cause of the inconsistency, customers encountering this issue should make note of Schema-related changes, Object Migrations, or error messages prior to experiencing the problem. Change Journaling, if it has been enabled, can help in preserving this information.

ACTION:
If the missing object ID exists in another environment or a previous database backup then use Object Manager to migrate that object into the inconsistent project.

WORKAROUND:
Contact  Strategy Technical Support for possible workarounds. Note that any potential workarounds, besides Object Manager migration, will result in the deletion or modification of objects that depend on the inconsistent/missing Table.
